PSI currently seeks a qualified individual to work as part-time IT Consultant with our dynamic, results-oriented team in Hanoi

Duration: part-time, 1-year contract with possibility of extension

Report to: PSI’s HR/Admin Manager.

Working mechanism: Daily on-site at PSI Office (8:00 -12:00am) and in urgent cases (e.g. emergency for system or seriously affect staff’s work)

Post summary: The IT Consultant is responsible for providing technical support, maintenance of PSI/Vietnam’s office equipment including but not limited to servers and email system, photocopy machine, printers, computers, LAN networks to ensure that all PSI’s IT equipment operates effectively and securely. In addition, IT Consultant will work closely with HR/Admin team to review and improve IT system including back-up, improve and control system’s security and set up a professional filing system.

Key responsibilities:

Manage Office Internet to ensure the internet connection and equipment are running smoothly for daily work;
Manage the Email and File servers to ensure the live time of servers including oversee server room to ensure the server system is in good conditions;
Manage the firewall and anti-virus software

Daily check and scan virus and spam on the servers, client computers by using updated version of virus program to ensure computers are free of virus.
Daily check and monitor the log files on the servers to ensure that the network is secured; the performance of firewall, record the usage of memory and any issues that can affect the system.
Trouble shoot any issues related to spam and virus infection; Liaise with spam fighters to release our IP addresses from the blacklists in case our server is regarded as a spam server;

Maintain the office equipment

Ensure smooth and appropriate functioning of all office equipment (e.g. computers/laptops, photocopy machines, printers, telephone lines…); ensure latest & best software licensed by PSI is used across all computers
Do hardware and software diagnostics on monthly basis and provide monthly reports on updates needed for all computers including servers;
Do quarterly hardware maintenance (clean mouse, keyboards, cases, etc.) with well-documented and submit to PSI/Adm Manager

Backup all the office’s e-mails and data on weekly, daily and monthly basis; work with HR/Admin team to create and improve files system;
Other related services required by PSI’s HR/Admin Manager or designated

Selection criteria:

Information Technology Degree or equivalent;
Proven experience in similar system control;
Good interpersonal and crossed teamwork skills;
Communicable in English is preferred;

Gross compensation rate: VND 11,000,000/month
