Job Vacancy: Lecturer of training courses on capacities building about Planning and Monitoring & Evaluation

Location: Thua Thien Hue province

1.  Background and Brief Project Description

In the framework of Green Annamites Project funded by USAID, Vietnam Rural Industries Research and Development Institutes implemented sub-project “Sustainable production and responsible consumption of medicinal plant and handicraft products for livelihood improvement and reduced wildlife poaching for enhancing biodiversity conservation in Thua Thien Hue province”

The overall goal of the project is to to improve livelihood of local people through promoting of sustainable production and responsible consumption of local products for enhancing biodiversity conservation. The project includes two thematic interventions: 1) to promote sustainable production of medicinal plants and handicrafts for livelihood improvement of the local people and biodiversity conservation; and 2) to promote responsible consumption of medicinal plant and handicraft products. Time frame of the subproject within 12 months: September 2019 - September 2020. Beneficiaries of the subproject include 03 cooperatives: Kazan Waterfall Community Tourism Cooperative (Nam Dong District), A Luoi Green Brocade Cooperative (A Luoi District), Bao La Bamboo and Rattan Cooperative (Quang Dien District) and 10 groups of medicinal plants in A Luoi and Nam Dong districts.

2. Job Description

• - Developing training materials on how to use Planning and Monitoring & Evaluation skills
• for Groups/Cooperatives
• - Based on the developed documents, training 2 capacity building courses for 26 local
• trainers who are community leaders, team leaders will be responsible for training and
• coaching interest group members and cooperatives.
• - In addition, after the training, candidates need to write reports after the course

3. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics and related fields.
• Over 5 years of teaching experience (TOT) in Planning and Monitoring & Evaluation
• Project work skills with many parties involved (communication skills)
• Presentation, answering skills for students
• Writing reports skills
