The SME Development Project in Tra Vinh Province

The SME Development Project in Tra Vinh Province funded by Canada (Global Affairs of Canada) has been carried out from 2014  to 2020. The project is being considered an extension until 2022. One of the medium term outcomes of the project is to increase quantity and improve competitiveness of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Tra Vinh Province.

The project has focused on 3 strategic objectives:

• Objective 1: The startup eco-system and enterprise development in Tra Vinh established, operated and mainstreamed into Mekong Delta and national eco-systems to speed up start-up ideas and establishment of new and innovation enterprises.
• Objective 2:  Value chain products are diversified and accessibility to expended market.
• Objective 3: Business environment of Tra Vinh promotes investment and enterprises development
