About the program: ASEAN–Australia Counter Trafficking (ASEAN-ACT) continues Australia’s long running collaboration with ASEAN and its member states to end human trafficking in our region. The program will principally work on strengthening the justice sector response to human trafficking, while opening up new partnerships with allied government agencies, civil society and business. It will engage all 10 ASEAN Member States in some capacity and will continue national-level programming in Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. In Vietnam, the Program is supporting its counterparts in implementation of 6 projects with a number of events such as workshops and trainings. Objectives The Event Logistics Assistant (ELA) will support the Finance and Administration Officer (FAO) and the Country Team in a range of activities which may include finances, administration, and logistics for Program events including training activities, workshops and meetings (tentatively 8-10 working days/month). Roles and Responsibilities The Event Logistics Assistant will work in a timely and detailed manner to ensure ASEAN-ACTs logistics & administration work is complete, accurate and complies with the programs policies and procedures.
