Développement International Desjardins (DID) is a non-government-organization which belongs to Desjardins Group in Canada. It was established with a mission to support and promote the cooperative credit model in the world in general and the People’s Credit Funds (PCFs) in Vietnam in particular. DID has implemented several projects in Vietnam since 1993 to assist the People's Credit Fund network in its establishment and development.

DID in collaboration with the Cooperative Bank of Vietnam is currently implementing the STrEngthening the People's Credit Funds network (STEP) to support and strengthen the People's Credit Fund network in Vietnam. The five-year project –funded by Global Affairs Canada, operates in 14 provinces and 75 pilot PCFs across the country.

We are recruiting an experienced full-time IT Advisor for STEP.

Education:

• Must have a University degree or above in IT / Computer Science

Job Requirements:

• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Business / IT solution analysis, Quality Assurance and working with large and complex data warehouse systems with hand-on data architecture experience.
• Proven experience in preparing IT system’ requirements and testing.
• Highly interested in trends related to digital finance.
• Sound knowledge of IT architecture and a global vision of technologies (software and Fintechs, Databases, Networks, cloud, and security etc.).
• Good knowledge in generating process documentation, IT’s solution
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
• Experience in providing high quality analytical feedback.
• Demonstrates a rational and organized approach to the tasks undertaken and an awareness of the need to achieve quality.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Well organized, team player, patient, dedicated, tactful, autonomous, disciplined and mature.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in IT project management;
• Experiences in Banking and Finance sector is an advantage;
• Knowledgeable in BI technologies, EBS;
• Experience working in international projects with offshore team;

You are known for your effective communication (oral and written), interpersonal and political skills along with your aptitude for negotiating and communicating influence.

Working Specifications

Perform other job-related tasks not specifically described in this job description upon mutual agreement with the International Operations and Systems Advisor/ International IT Advisor that requires the prior approval of the Field Project Director. The IT Advisor will be available to travel frequently within Vietnam to STEP provinces as required.
