Our flagship campus will be located in Saigon Hi-Tech Park, in Ho Chi Minh City (District 9). Until phase 1 of campus construction is completed in Summer 2022, we are located at Crescent Plaza, Tan Phu, in Ho Chi Minh City (District 7).

We are seeking for YSEALI Academy Program Positions to join YSEALI Academy. The position is expected to report directly to the YSEALI Academy Director.

What is the YSEALI Academy

Launched in 2013, the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) is U.S. government’s signature program to strengthen leadership development and networking in Southeast Asia. YSEALI seeks to build the leadership capabilities of youth in the region, strengthen ties between the United States and Southeast Asia, and nurture an ASEAN community.  YSEALI is partnering with Fulbright University Vietnam (FUV) in Ho Chi Minh City to launch the YSEALI Academy at FUV.

Who we are

Located in Ho Chi Minh City, FUV is Vietnam’s first private, not-for-profit university announced by President Barack Obama on May 24, 2016 and given substantial financial support from the US State Department, USAID, and a variety of private donors. We aim to create an institution that can transform the lives our students, address the pressing needs of Vietnamese society, and ultimately point the way toward a new approach to high quality education in developing countries.

What we are doing

The YSEALI Academy at FUV will offer executive-level seminars for entry to mid-level professionals around the themes of technology & innovation, public policy, and entrepreneurship. Participation will be open to applicants from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam. YSEALI Academy at FUV aims to deliver 16-20 high-quality seminars in the next five years to rising leaders (“Fellows”) across Southeast Asia. These seminars will address regional challenges from regional perspectives, feature leading regional and US-based experts in industry and academia, and involve individual and group-based, experiential learning activities designed to create lasting professional relationships between Fellows of different nationalities and foster skills which can be applied in Fellows’ careers.
