“Livelihood improvement model through introduction of agri-tourism to ethnic minority people
in the mountainous areas of Son La Province, Viet Nam”

Pursuant to the Power of Attorney for the Recruitment of Project Secretary No. 001/2021NPO-IFPaT, dated 12/4/2021 of a non-profit organization of technical assistance network with the participation of international farmers (Japan, NPO- IFPaT);

Pursuant to Plan No. 26 / KH-HDT?HTB dated April 27, 2021 of the University Council of Tay Bac University on the recruitment of Project Clerk “Livelihood improvement model through introduction of agri-tourism to ethnic minority people in the muontainous areas of Son La Province, Viet Nam”.

Tay Bac University announced the recruitment of Project Secretary with the following contents:

I. Brief information about the Project

1. Project Management Board Address	No. 2, Lane 12, Nguyen Luong Bang Street, Group 2, Quyet Thang Ward, Son La City.
2. Place of execution	Bo village, Chieng An ward, Son La city.
3. Execution time	From 2021 to the end of 2023.
4. Objectives of the Project	Improving the livelihoods of ethnic minority villages in mountainous areas of Son La province through agri-tourism introduction.
5. Signing Project	The project was implemented under the framework of the signing agreement between Kasama City (Ibaraki Province, Japan), Japan International Farmers Participation Network Technical Assistance Network (IFPaT), and Japan International Cooperation (JICA) with Son La Provincial People's Committee.
6. Parties to the Project	- Kasama City (Ibaraki province, Japan); - NPO-IFPaT Organization (Japan); - Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Son La province; - Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Son La province; - People's Committee of Son La City; - Tay Bac University.

II. Project Clerk Recruitment Information

1. Job description

Translating Vietnamese and English.
Manage work schedule of Japanese Experts.
Coordinate/negotiate the project activities between Japanese experts and the Agricultural Tourism Promotion Board (ATPU) and other organizations.
Prepare logistical work groups for operations.
Store all relevant data, information, dialogues, reports ...
Responsible for purchasing equipment.
Any work within the framework of Vietnamese Law to support Japanese experts.

2. Required skills and qualifications

In terms of expertise: Proficient in English and computers, with a high sense of responsibility.
About health: Being healthy, suitable for high intensity of work.
Skills: Communication skills, work organization, team work.

5. Recruitment form

Direct interview at Tay Bac University (Group 2, Quyet Tam Ward, Son La City): For candidates from Son La province and the Northwest provinces.
Direct interview at JICA Vietnam Office (11th Floor, CornerStone Building, 16 Phan Chu Trinh Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi): for candidates from Hanoi and surrounding areas.
Candidates work online with Japanese experts to agree to sign the working contract.
