World Vision International Vietnam (WVV) is looking for the Consultant to fill the following vacancy:
Consultant for Impact assessment on the draft amended Law on Domestic Violence Prevention in administrative procedures of preventing and combating domestic violence
BACKGROUND:
World Vision International in Vietnam (WVI-V), ChildFund Australia’s Representative Office in Vietnam (ChildFund), Plan International Vietnam (PIV), Institute for Sustainable Development (MSD) are international and local non governmental organizations, who have been operating in Vietnam for many years for the development of disadvantaged children, women and communities. The organizations have strategies and programs to protection children (girls and boys) and women from abuse, violence and exploitation. To protect vulnerable children, the organizations promotes family values, relationship, well-being as well as parenting skills to create a protective family ecology, to build the safe environment for girls and boys. The amended Law on Domestic Violence Prevention is a key legal framework to promote support services for children and parents at the community as well as other solutions to prevent and combat domestic violence. At the same time, field practices and experience of WVI-V, ChildFund, PIV and MSD will be a valuable source of information contributing to the policy impact assessment and finally contribute to the amended Law on Domestic Violence Prevention.
Department of Family Affairs- MOCST and WVI-V, ChildFund, PIV and MSD have discussed and agreed to cooperate in conducting the “Impact assessment on the amended Law on Domestic Violence Prevention in administrative procedures of preventing and combating domestic violence”. The assessment will look at how the administrative procedures have minimized barriers to support victims and at risk people in reporting and accessing services, especially girls, boys and women in order to inform evidence on the policy impact assessment on administrative procedure in Law on Domestic Violence Prevention implementation.
