Looking for creative agency to produce viral videos
Topic: Awareness of online human trafficking risks
The SecDev Foundation is looking for an individual or team that have extensive experience in producing videos and social campaigns that engage youth and raise awareness on difficult social issues.
Every year, thousands of youth become victims of online human trafficking. Recent research based on detailed surveys and interviews has revealed the importance of online chat as a tool of human traffickers and their agents.
The SecDev Foundation, in collaboration with the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, will launch a campaign to educate youth, particularly ethnic minority youth, on the risks of human trafficking. The campaign will be based on 3 animated ‘story’ videos and one promo trailer (4 videos total) focusing on the stories of human trafficking, and the steps youth can take to better protect themselves. Specifically, the videos will convey messages on: 1) the risks and consequences of being a victim of human trafficking; 2) the five common signs of a risky meeting, and 3) five steps to stay safe when you meet an ‘online stranger’ for the first time.
The project team will provide the background information, stories and specific cases for the video producers. The video will require Hmong language narration, which will be sourced with assistance from the SecDev Foundation.
The work will include both video production and promotion. Experience designing and implementing social campaigns will be an important asset. The campaign content will be hosted and distributed via www.chonghack.com and its associated Facebook page. Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation will also share the content on their social media pages.
