Supplying and installing physical server

The Project on Enhancing the Sustainable Natural Resource Management phase 2(SNRM2 Project) is funded by Japan Government and Vietnam Government, to be implemented by Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The overall goal of the project is “The country’s capacity for maximizing multiple benefits derived from forest ecosystem is enhanced, which contributes to improved livelihoods of local people and mitigation of climate change impact through promotion of Sustainable Forest Management (SFM), REDD+ and biodiversity conservation.”

The SNRM2’s Consultant Office led by Japan Forest Technology Association (JAFTA) is providing technical services to the Project. The Project is being implemented from May 2021 to March 2025, as a success of the SNRM Project (2015-2021).

The SNRM2’s Consultant Office kindly invites the organizations, companies (hereinafter referred to as “Supplier”) to join in a bid on “supplying and installing a physical server system”. Contract will be signed between the SNRM2’s Consultant Office and the bid winner. The procurement regulations of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will be applied.

Basic specifications:

• Central Processing Unit (CPU): 4 x Intel Processor 2.2GHz; Intel Chipset C621.
• Random Access Memory (RAM): 1024GB;
• Hard Disk: 2 x 960GB SSD;
• Power supply: 4 x 750W (or 2 x 1500W);
• CentOS Operating System;
• VMWare vSphere7 Enterprise;
• Installation, configuration and quick training on how to operate;
• On-site maintenance service for at least 3 years.
