About the position
The Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT in Asia is involved in the implementing of the project flagship 1 “Food Systems for Healthy Diets” (FSHD) as part of the CGIAR Research Program on Agriculture for Nutrition and Health (https://a4nh.cgiar.org/about/), or CRP-A4NH, led by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). In Vietnam research in this FSHD flagship will focus on a dynamic analysis of the transformation of food systems and diet transitions at regional level. It will seek to understand not only the impacts and effectiveness of specific types of policy interventions and business innovations in relation to food systems for different target populations, but also their possible environmental and economic trade-offs.
The Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT is seeking a highly innovative and motivated short term Research Assistant to work with the Food Environment and Consumer Behavior (FE&CB) research team. The successful candidate will provide efficient and effective administrative support and co-implement research activities under the supervisor of A4NH Country Coordinator in Vietnam and Senior Research Associate of FE&CB team.
