PATH is seeking the Team Lead to work for the DEEP VZN project in Vietnam.
The Team Lead will provide technical and programmatic leadership for and coordination of DEEP VZN activities in Vietnam. This will include assisting with developing and implementing partner capacity building activities to enhance capacities for sampling, detection, characterization, and data sharing of data on potential priority zoonotic viruses. S/he will contribute to partner selection, monitoring, management, and oversight. S/he will support the development or enhancement of trainings, standard operating procedures and tools and monitor implementation. S/he will also support the assessment of laboratories and identify and implement recommendations to enable them to effectively detect and characterize priority viruses.
The position will lead a team of 5-6 full-time team members. The Team Lead is based at PATH Country Office in Hanoi. The Team Lead reports to the Project Director at Washington State University and the Global Health Security Program Director / Deputy Program Director, PATH Vietnam Country Program.
