Founded in 1937, Plan International is a humanitarian and development organization that promotes children's rights and equality for girls. As an independent humanitarian and development organization, we work alongside our children, youth, advocates and partners to address the root causes of the challenges girls and all vulnerable children face. We support children's rights from birth to adulthood and empower children to prepare for and respond to crises and adversity. We drive changes in practice and policy at the local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge. For over 80 years we have been building strong partnerships for children and we are active in more than 75 countries. Plan International has been operating in Vietnam since 1993.
