Call For quotations: Event services

Background

VVOB is a non-profit organisation with over 35 years of experience in improving the quality of education systems from a rights-based perspective. VVOB has currently long-term partnerships with education actors in 9 countries in the South (Cambodia, DR Congo, Ecuador, Rwanda, South Africa, Suriname, Vietnam, Zambia and Uganda) and in Belgium/Flanders. Its annual budget is around 13 million euros.

In Vietnam, VVOB is currently implementing the following programmes/projects:

• Preschool Teachers Apply Language-rich Teaching Skills and Knowledge (TALK) (2022-2026)
• Integrating Play-based Learning Activities for Young learners (iPLAY) (2019-2023), funded by The LEGO Foundation.
• Blended Learning for Educators in a Global Network for Development (BLEND), funded by The LEGO Foundation.
• Communities of practice Inspiring Teaching Innovations in the early Education System in Vietnam – Phases 3 (CITIES 3)

This call is for all projects covering the period from 2022 to 2024.

Objectives and scopes of the call

The hotel services consist of the tasks: Accommodation, workshop and event services (all details are in the attached call for quotations). All tasks require close contact and continuous communication with VVOB staff.

• Location: Ha Noi, Da Nang, Gia Lai, Dien Bien, Quang Tri, Ho Chi Minh and other provinces if required
• Hotel star rating: maximum 4-star hotel
• Accommodation (room): Superior and Deluxe, Single and Double room, standardly furnished.
• Meeting room (except specific cases mentioned in the above table): projectors, table, chairs, wireless internet, papers and pens, flipchart.
• Any other event services: translation, equipment, banner, promotional materials, transportation etc.
• Customer service: At least one/two staff (for event under/over 180 participants) to oversee audio, visual materials, projector, printing, contact with hotel about tea-break and lunch, support the payments to the participants or any other admin tasks

VVOB is inviting bidders to come up with a signed and sealed quotation in Vietnamese by e-mail to [email protected] and [email protected] before 5pm 30 May 2022, and mention in object: ‘quotation ref VVOB 2022 004’
