MAG is an international humanitarian non-governmental organization clearing remnant of conflicts in current and former conflict zones. Present in Vietnam since 1999, MAG has been working to maximize community safety and help those most-at-risk reduce their chance of being in a UXO accident.
We are seeking a strong qualified Logistics and Fleet Manager (LFM) who will provide strategic and operational leadership in regards to logistics and fleet to the country programme, ensuring the effective management of procurement, stock management, fleet management and maintenance. The role will focus on overseeing management systems, increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of log and fleet functions, ensuring the programme’s operation is compliant with donor requirements and with MAG’s internal policies and procedures, and providing support to the Senior Management Team in country (SMT) in risk management.
Major functions: The Logistics and Fleet Manager (LFM) position manages National and International procurement of MAG Vietnam, ensures timely purchasing and a smooth supply chain to enable the efficient running of operations and coordinates with MAG global procurement team on all items needing to be purchased internationally.
This position supports the Head of Support Services in leading and supporting roll-out of the adoption of the Global Procurement Policy and Manual and Develop the Programme Procurement Strategy. The LFM is one of the national leading team on the implementation and enforcement of MAG key policies across suppliers including safeguarding, anti-corruption and anti-bribery policy, anti-human trafficking and anti-slavery.
