ChildCare Vietnam (CCV) invites qualified Vietnamese candidates to apply for a new Assistant Program Director position, based in Phu Ninh district, Quang Nam province.

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Program Director will assist the Program Director in:

• Monitoring and observing staff performance at CCV program sites
• Reporting on implementation of programs to government agencies, U.S. management and other project partners
• Recording child assessments and progress reports, and measuring program achievements
• Communicating with parents on child progress and needs
• Managing purchasing of program equipment, materials and supplies, and facility maintenance
• Budgeting and financial planning
• Ensuring that expenditures are properly documented, and provide accurate and timely reports of expenditures to U.S. management
• Managing other administrative tasks of the program as needed

Requirements:

• University graduate in any field, preferably in education, health, community development, or social work
• 2 years relevant work experience in program management, including program planning and implementation and community relations. Experience in managing and supervising staff
• Ability to work with a minimum of supervision, exercise judgment, meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills and well-developed written and oral communications skills in Vietnamese
• Verbal and written English proficiency
• Solid computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email
• Willingness to work at project sites in Tam Ky, Phu Ninh and the surrounding areas
