SNV has been working in Vietnam since 1995, and currently has over 30 national and international staff. SNV Vietnam operates from a head office in Hanoi and projects in over 50 provinces in the country, including in the poorest and most remote areas.
We are now seeking a qualified Vietnamese candidate for the position of Logistic Officer. The position will be for 01 year, expected to start from January 2023. This position will provide daily efficient logistic services to the country office in Hanoi and project offices in provinces.
Responsibilities
- In charge of incoming and out-going mails and courier for office.
- Arrange efficient accommodations for workshops, client meetings and trainings to ensure that they are properly organized and conducted and also accommodations for staff during field trips
- Submit and arrange formal documents (e.g. visa, custom clearance, etc.)
- Coordinate the organization of national and international travel including booking vehicles and accommodation, air tickets and travel insurance, support visa arrangement, logistics, etc. and ensure payment, using the standard suppliers
- Up to date oversight on inventory and provision of working equipment to the staff, assets and means of transport. Conduct periodic inventory of office assets.
- Organize office equipment and order stationary
- Ensure maintenance of office, utilities and other properties, coordinate repairs and ensure comfortable and functioning facilities fit for purpose
- Coordinate activities and distribute work over the cleaning staff at country office
- Other admin work required.
Candidate profile
- Vietnamese citizen
- University degree (Foreign Trade, Marketing or Administration)
- At least 3 years of relevant experience at international organisations
- Knowledgeable in logistic services
- Initiative and creativity in solving problems
- Willingness to work on intensive deadlines with “I can” attitude
- Good communication skills in English in both spoken and written
- Good computer skills in MS-applications (Word, Excel)
Contract Duration: SNV Vietnam offers initial 01 year contract and the extension will be based on the performance.
Desired start date: ideally in earlier 2023
