Job Description

These positions are expected to work at Mekong Economics’s office in Hanoi full-time for eight months (from mid/late February to October 2023) with possible time extension. Reports to General Manager and Manager of Project Implementation Division (PID Manager), these candidates are expected to:

• Participate in implementing enterprise research which are funded by the World Bank and USAID.
• Participate in project planning and designation of survey tools.
• Conduct interviews with enterprises (for the junior position only).
• Undertake accounting and administrative tasks.
• Assist with data analysis and reporting.

Required Skills/Experience

Required:

• Bachelor Degree (and last year student can also apply for the post of junior position).
• No working experience is required for the post of junior position.
• But at least two-year working experience in the development sector for the post of senior position.
• Good in English (for the senior position only).
• Good understanding / use of MS Office computer software
• Pro-active and highly responsible.
• Well organized and positive attitude.
• Have a strong team-sprit
• Able and willing to travel to provinces in Vietnam

Preferred:

• For the senior position only: Previous experience in conducting or managing socio-economic surveys; holding a Master degree in economic subjects.
