Activity name (as stated in the original proposal): Activity 2.1: Improve institutional capacity and inter-agency cooperation in using anti-money laundering (AML) tools to investigate, prosecute and convict wildlife crime

Service (to be performed): Simultaneous interpretation teams (2 persons) for two training courses

Training 1: Strengthening knowledge and skills to apply anti-money laundering tools to investigate and prosecute wildlife crimes.

Training 2: Strengthening the use of financial information and anti-money laundering legislation in wildlife crime adjudication

Location of Services:

1.     Training 1: Da Lat city, Lam Dong province (Mar. 9-11, 2023, excluding travel time)

2.     Training 2: Bac Ninh province (Mar. 13-14, 2023, excluding travel time)

I.                Description of work:

Total estimated hours (interpretation service):

03 days in Lam Dong, (8 hours/day)

02 days in Bac Ninh, (8 hours/day)

 (excluding travel days before and after the workshop for a team of 2 persons. A team can propose to provide services in either or both events.  

II.              Requirements (selection criteria):

• Having at least 5 years of experience in simultaneous interpretation;
• Has experience in simultaneous interpretation for topics of money laundering, finance, crimes, wildlife;
• Having certificates of professional English interpretation/translation is an advantage;
• For training 1, those candidates based nearby Lam Dong province are preferred;
