Field Coordinator

International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) seeks to recruit a Field Coordinator to support the implementation of the Vietnam priority country project “Sustainable Animal Productivity for Livelihoods, Nutrition and Gender Inclusion (SAPLING Initiative)” in the province of Son La, in collaboration with the different partner institutions.
ILRI works to improve food security and nutrition, and reduce poverty in developing countries through research for efficient, safe and sustainable use of livestock. It is the only one of 11 CGIAR research centres dedicated entirely to animal agriculture research for the developing world. Co-hosted by Kenya and Ethiopia, ILRI has regional or country offices and projects in East, South and Southeast Asia as well as Central, East, Southern and West Africa. www.ilri.org

Position Location: ILRI’s Hanoi Office, Vietnam with frequent travel to Son La for field work activities.
Terms of Appointment
This position is at job level HG12 and it is only open to Vietnam nationals. The position is a fixed term contract up to 31st Dec 2024. ILRI offers a competitive salary and benefits package which includes pension, medical and other insurance.
