Project Objectives
SI is implementing the USAID Learns Contract. The scope of the five-year project is to support USAID/Vietnam staff and its implementing partners to implement more efficient, effective, and sustainable programs by (1) improving staff P knowledge and skills in Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) and Collaborating, Learning & Adapting (CLA); (2) advancing evidence-informed decision-making; (3) strengthening strategic collaboration between staff and local stakeholders.
Background
In mid-2023, USAID/Vietnam will propose an expansion of the INCLUSION project, a $65 million project working in eight provinces in Vietnam. This expansion will expand its geographic coverage and project duration while increasing resources. To secure approval of this expansion, USAID/Vietnam has requested USAID Learns to lead a review of lessons learned and key project revision recommendations from the implementation of INCLUSION to date. These recommendations will be incorporated into the feasibility study submitted by NACCET to the Government of Vietnam for approval of the expansion.
Position Description
USAID Vietnam seeks a Senior Facilitator Consultant to lead the lesson-learning facilitation process, working closely with NACCET and USAID Vietnam. This will involve detailed discussions with a range of local stakeholders in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and the new activity provinces of Bac Lieu, Ca Mau and Quang Ngai.
**Please Note: This is a local position. Only Vietnamese citizens will be eligible to apply.**
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for the position are as follows.
1. Report on Project lessons learned and recommendations for modification
2. Modified Project Feasibility Study Report
3. Support for GVN approval of the modified feasibility study (if required)
