JUNIOR ASSISTANT & TRANSLATOR (EN/FR-VN and vice versa)

The Embassy of Switzerland in Hanoi is currently accepting applications for a Junior Assistant and Translator (EN/FR-VN and vice-versa). This is a full-time position.

Your main tasks:

• Front desk reception, answering and forwarding phone calls, receiving visitors
• Diplomatic correspondence as instructed by diplomatic staff
• Translation of texts, English/French-Vietnamese and Vietnamese-English/French
• Updating of databases
• Under the supervision of the Management Team and in coordination with the media officer, social media work, incl. Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn, production of "posts" in EN/VN languages, administration/evaluation of accounts
• Supporting the organization of Embassy events
• Handling/distribution of incoming mail
• Coordinating the schedule of the Embassy drivers/messengers
