ROLE DESCRIPTION

Kenan is seeking for the position of Field-based Project Coordinator to work under direct daily supervision of the assigned VN Program Manager, Project Manager, and Country Project Coordinator. S/he will be responsible for supporting in capacity building training, reporting; carrying the administration and logistic arrangements required for training, forums; and participate in project developments and activities in Tra Vinh province. S/he will also be responsible for overseeing monitoring and evaluation activities including monitoring activities, conducting surveys, focus groups, assisting in project evaluations and tracking all project/program goals and deliverables.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Implementation:

• Implementing activities at the local level;
• Arrangements for training and communication with participants to join all training;
• Participate in planning, implementation, and reporting for all community-based activities;
• Individual and group-based sessions with participants to assist with applying skills from training into their enterprise; ongoing project monitoring;
• Participate in the monitoring and evaluation of knowledge and behavior change of project beneficiaries before and after project activities through tasks such as conducting surveys, administering pre-and post-assessments, and entering and editing M&E database.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Preparations for meetings with government and provincial health services;
• Coordination for health screening and health service provision;
• Overseeing micro insurance and finance access in collaboration with outreach workers, and with ongoing guidance from service providers;
• Assume primary responsibility for the logistical arrangement and organization of all project activities, including event set-up, material rental and procurement, etc., under the supervision of the VN Country Project Coordinator;
• Keep regular communication with the VN Country Project Coordinator and VN Program Manager in Ha Noi office and provide weekly updates on project progress.

BACKGROUND:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics, Education or related field;
• At least 2 years of direct experience in project management and development, analysis, and related field in non-profit organizations is preferable;
• Demonstrated proficiency in multitasking, meeting client demands and deadlines, coupled with a robust emphasis on achieving results and effectively collaborating across various disciplines
• Having strong knowledge in education, business & economics or social inclusion area;
• Understanding well about Tra Vinh province will be an advantaged;
• Lead in development and preparation for training or workshop agendas and materials;
• Fluent in both Vietnamese (native speaker) and English.
