The USAID Sustainable Forest Management Project (the Project) is a 5-year project funded by the United States Agency for International Development in Vietnam. The Project will work with the Government of Vietnam (GVN) to reduce carbon emissions associated with deforestation, the degradation of natural forests, and poor plantation management. The Project will implement a “Green Prosperity” approach that strengthens local communities’ ability to protect their natural resource base and reduce emissions while building a strong foundation for sustainable livelihoods and equitable economic growth.

The Project will work in seven provinces (Lao Cai, Son La, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Quang Nam) and focus on five objectives:

1. Improve and expand community forest management
2. Increase conservation-friendly enterprises in forest-dependent communities
3. Increase functionality of law enforcement system for forest crimes
4. Improve production forest management practices
5. Mobilize domestic resources for forest management and protection

DAI, implementer of the USAID Sustainable Forest Management Project, invites qualified vendors to submit proposals to provide Healthcare Insurance and Accident/Workmen Compensation Insurance as per the detailed in the attached Request for Proposal No. SFM-RFP-2023-023.

Please follow below timelines for bidder conference, questions, and submission of the proposals:

1. Confirm your participation of the Bidder conference before 03:00 PM local Hanoi time on September 26, 2023, via email to [email protected].
2. Submit any questions related to the Request for proposal no later than 12:00 PM local Hanoi time on October 5, 2023, via email to [email protected].
3. Proposal submission deadline is no later than 5:00 PM local Hanoi time on October 07, 2023, via email to [email protected].

Bidders interested in providing Healthcare Insurance and Accident/Workmen Compensation Insurance service to DAI need to contact via email [email protected] to receive (1) Attachment A_1: List of members enrolled for health and accidental insurance, and (2) Attachment A_2: Detail ratio loss up to August 15th, 2023 of the RFP.
