1. Detailed Description of Tasks to be Performed:
National Strategy on Prevention and Control of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), outlining a comprehensive plan to address the growing threat of AMR in Vietnam. This National AMR Strategy (NAS), which covers the period from 2023 to 2030, with a vision towards 2045, highlights the importance of rational and responsible use of antimicrobial agents in humans, animals, and environment as a approach to combatting AMR. In support of the efforts to combat antimicrobial resistance as outlined in this NAS, FHI360 together with DAH/MARD and MSA/MOH, is planning to organize a National One Health Symposium on AMR in November 2023. This symposium serves as a crucial platform to bring together experts, researchers, healthcare professionals, livestock industry experts, veterinarians, environmentalists, policy makers, and stakeholders to discuss, strategize, and collaborate in addressing the global threat of AMR in the new period of NAS.
Therefore, FHI360 is looking for a national consultant to assist to provide technical supports in facilitating the National One Health Symposium on AMR. FHI 360 requires a consultant to possess expertise and experience in One Health in term of policies and strategies, public health and familiarity with experts in AMR/AMU.
