Project Objective
Social Impact (SI) is implementing the USAID/Vietnam Learns Contract. The scope of the five-year project is to support USAID/Vietnam staff and its implementing partners to implement more efficient, effective, and sustainable programs by (1) improving staff knowledge and skills in Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) and Collaborating, Learning & Adapting (CLA); (2) advancing evidence-informed decision-making; (3) strengthening strategic collaboration between staff and local stakeholders.

About USAID’s Diversity, Development and Diplomacy Professional Development Program
USAID Diversity, Development and Diplomacy Professional Development Program (USAID DDD) is a recruitment initiative for talented university students to develop skills and professional capacity. Young Professionals (YPs) joining the program will have the opportunity to further develop their knowledge and skills related to programming international development activities; developing program budgets for international donors such as USAID; and providing technical assistance to implementing partners, civil society, Government of Vietnam officials, and other donors. YPs in the USAID DDD will be given the opportunity to:
The USAID DDD lasts for 03 months, and YPs receive a stipend of VND 11,600,000 per month.
Position Description
SI seeks to hire a full-time Communications Young Professional to support the USAID Vietnam Development Outreach and Communications (DOC) team starting in June 2024. This position is based in Hanoi and will report to the Creative Advisor on the DOC team. The incumbent will be tasked with coordinating with the DOC team on both internal and external communications for social media content and longer format storytelling highlighting USAID's work in Vietnam. As a member of the DOC team, the candidate will support the team in a variety of ways including but not limited to; clearing paperwork, supporting events, sourcing content for social media, and conducting site visits across Vietnam with members of team to support with interviews. The candidate will also be responsible for general admin day to day tasks to support all members of the DOC office.
