Norwegian People's Aid (NPA) is an Oslo-based Humanitarian organization working in the field of Mine Action. We have operated in Vietnam since 2007 with a Representative office and projects in Hanoi, Hue, Quang Tri, Quang Binh, and Kon Tum. We are seeking qualified, enthusiastic, experienced Vietnamese applicants for a full-time Admin officer (AO) working in Thua Thien Hue province.

Main function

The Admin Officer shall assist the Provincial Program Manager (PPM) and/or Provincial Operations Manager (POM) with all administrative tasks related to operations and HR Admin supports.
The Admin Officer is responsible for tasks directed by the PPM/POM/ Human Resource Admin Manager (HRAM).

Responsibilities

Operations Admin Tasks

Assist the PPM/POM in administrative work (drafting reports, documents, task order preparation, meeting/training organization, and meeting minute taking...) related to operations and HR-Admin procedures of the project.

Interpretation/Translation Tasks

Accompany NPA’s international staff on operational field visits and meetings/workshops, as assigned.
Provide interpretation during training courses, meetings, and workshops when required.

HR-Administrative Tasks

Assist PPM/HRAM in all Administrative and Operational support, ensure of performance of assigned tasks, procedures of NPA Hue office is in line with all current legislations of Vietnam and NPA policies and procedures.

Communications Tasks

Assist PPM in drafting news/stories/articles to be posted on NPA Vietnam’s social media channels when required

Others

Any other lawful tasks or duties assigned by PPM, OM/TFM in Hue or in other locations where NPA’s activities are deployed.

Required qualifications – experience:

Bachelor of English or other major with fluent English speaking/writing skills
Experience working as interpreter/translator/admin with foreign organizations for at least 2 years
Having B2 driving license or higher with good driving experiences is an advantage
Possess good analytical, Interpersonal, Communication Skills
Good time management and organizational skills
Proven ability to work in a team and as individual effectively
Able to work under stress to meet tight deadlines and handling multiple tasks
Good knowledge in IT and MS Office applications
