Senior Program Manager (Health and Human Development)

The Embassy of Australia in Hanoi is looking for a highly motivated and well organised individual to fulfil the position of Senior Program Manager - Health and Human Development (LE6). A merit list from this recruitment exercise may be used to fill similar positions over the next 18 months from the date of advertisement.
Working for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade under the Development Section, the successful candidate will advise and monitor DFAT-funded regional health initiatives being implemented in Vietnam as well as policy developments to identify opportunities tomaximise visibility of Australia’s support for Vietnam’s health system strengthening in general.
Applicants should have strong relationship building skills, with proven experience developing networks in-country. Demonstrated previous experience managing development programs including financial management, contract management, monitoring and evaluation, managing risk and public diplomacy.
The successful applicant will be offered an initial One (1) Year Non-Ongoing Employment Contract with an option to renew for another Two (2) Years or Ongoing/Permanent Employment. The Embassy will consider flexible work arrangements. The full-time monthly gross salary ranges from VND 55,736,420 to VND 62,731,831, depending on skills and experience.
