Operational Liaison and Administrative Support Officer – Department of Home Affairs

The Embassy of Australia in Hanoi is looking for a talented and energetic individual to fulfil the position of Operational Liaison and Administrative Support Officer (LE4).

Working for the Department of Home Affairs, the Operational Liaison and Administrative Support Officer works under the direction of the Australian Border Force (ABF) Inspector/First Secretary with the responsibility of undertaking a range of engagement, administrative and corporate activities.

Applicants should have well-developed verbal and written communication skills and sound interpersonal skills, including the ability to build productive working relationships and communicate effectively at all levels in both Vietnamese and English, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of an effective small team, ability to work with minimal supervision, plan, set priorities, and meet deadlines, and experience in a foreign business environment or diplomatic mission is desirable.

The successful applicant will be offered an initial one (1) year non-ongoing employment contract with an option to renew for another one (1) year or ongoing/permanent employment, depending on funding. The full-time monthly gross salary ranges from VND 37,023,003 to VND 41,669,718, depending on skills and experience.
