Aus4Skills

The goal of Aus4Skills is to support Vietnam to access and use high level professional and technical knowledge, skills and competencies, to contribute to the country’s sustainable economic and inclusive development. The program also aims to deepen Vietnamese and Australian people- to-people and institutional links and therefore strengthen the partnership between the two countries.

Aus4Skills is managed by Tetra Tech International Development on behalf of Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).

Key responsibilities

  • Provide logistics and promotional support for the delivery of a range of high-quality alumni and public diplomacy events, including but not limited to venue and travel arrangements, invitations, reception and closing requirements.
  • Support the production of promotional materials and communication outputs for events, ensuring brand consistency and appropriate messaging.
  • Contribute to monitoring, evaluation and learning activities for alumni activities including data collection and maintenance, and reporting on alumni activities.
  • Provide support for the delivery of the Australian Alumni Grants Fund Administration covering promotions, grant preparation and grant administration.
  • Working closely with the IT/MIS Manager, maintain an up-to-date and effective alumni database system that supports and promotes registration of alumni and facilitates access to alumni information.

Selection criteria

  • Relevant undergraduate tertiary qualifications in public relations, human resources, business or equivalent professional experience.
  • Preferable at least 2 years professional experience working in a similar role and/or in the development sector.
  • Strong computer skills, including the ability to use databases designed for supporting networks of people.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, in Vietnamese and English language.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior professionals.
