Key Responsibilities:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a catalyst and partnership builder to enhance the well-being of children and their families.
- Manage technical projects of Nutrition and Health, Child Protection and Participation, Livelihood and Sponsorship and Community Engagement and financial resources in compliance with WVV’s financial and procurement policies and procedures.
- Facilitate the process of MVC mapping, POA making and reviewing, micro projects development and advocacy activities within the assigned communities.
- Ensure the most vulnerable children (MVC) and RC inclusion and the cross-cutting themes of Humanitarian Emergency Affairs and Disaster Risk Reduction (HEA-DRR), gender, disability are well assessed and addressed through project activities.
KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
- Bachelor's degree in education, public health, community development, social work and/or related field
- Motorbike driving license is required
- At least 3 years of experience in community development and program implementation, preferably with international humanitarian organizations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
- Language requirement: Vietnamese: Fully fluent. English: Intermediate
- A conceptual understanding of and commitment to development work, especially child-focused, community-based development concepts, approaches, and processes.
- Strong partnering and collaborating skills with different stakeholders
